Website indicates campground is open all year. December 16, 2017, we had been driving for hours and needed a place to stop for the night. My husband and I were passing through the area pulling a 40 ft. 5th wheel. We were both sick with the flu, it was getting dark, and we needed to stop for the night. When we arrived at Town Creek, the campground was closed! I wish they would have mentioned this on their website.
This is a hidden gem. We have driven from Houston, TX twice to stay here. Right in the Tombigbee River waterway. Bring your boat or jet ski!!
